 The
WoW Mining Guide is created to provide you a general idea of mining
so that it would be much easier for you to begin mining right away.
If you want to begin
your mining quest, first you have to visit your mining instructor
who will teach you how to mine and a mining pick will be necessary
too. Actually, it’s not important if your mining pick is enchanted
or not, you only have to keep in mind that one is required in order
to mine. One more thing you will perhaps wish to own is a pair of
mining gloves. You should buy the most inexpensive pair or you may
look for the enchanted pair which approximately costs less than 2g.

Bearing in mind that
you can discover the nodes for mining on the side of the mountains,
hills and some cliffs is pretty significant. You should also
memorize that after you achieve the 50 mining level you have to go
back to the mining instructor and that way you can turn to be a
journeyman miner.
WoW Mining Guide:
Horde Faction
If you are part of the Horde group, the best places to mine are:
• Undead: You may
begin by pausing at the entries of the Deathknell and head south
going after that cliff all the way and then reach to the Bulwark.
After that you may head towards the north and go after the cliffs
all the way to the Scarlet Monastery. Then go west and after that go
south following the cliffs until you reach Agamand Mills. After that
you can go back where you began by going after the hills back south.
This path can ge you to a level 40 or 50 miner.
• Tauren: This one offers you the ability to select your choice and
go after the cliffs in this region in a circle and this way you will
achieve level 40 to 50.
• Orcs or Troll: The only thing necessary is to do the routes of
Durotar and you will be capable of achieving levels 30 to 40.
WoW Mining Guide:
Alliance Faction
If you belong to the Alliance group, the best places to mine are:
• Human: You may wish
to begin in the Goldshire region and head east all along that cliff
until you get to the Crystal Lakes north side. Around 30 to 40 ores
is something you could discover there.
• Night Elves: If you are a Night Elf you have to continue over to
the Darkshore, since you won’t be able to discover any ore in the
Damassus region by any means. First you should go to Ashenvale and
go along the cliff, after which you may wish to go west to
Auberdine, to the east and then again go after the cliffs all the
way to the north and back to the shore and then south to Auberdine.
What this path is bringing you is about 40 or 50 mining levels.
• Dwarves and Gnomes: This is the place where the path isn’t
necessary because it is the miners’ home and the ore is possible to
discover all around this place. Here you can gather 40 to 50 ore.
